LOS ANGELES — Legal gun production has tripled since 2000, according to the first comprehensive federal gun commerce tally released by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Tuesday. Gun sales continue on an upward trend as the country reels from major recent gun violence events in Buffalo, Milwaukee and Laguna Woods.
